There’s a lot of workers providing complex social support in Mparntwe, Alice Springs, and surrounding remote communities.
Emma’s offers creative arts-based approaches to workers – supporting these workers to find ways to reduce their stress levels, offer practical tools to lower anxiety, and provide guided reflective practices so that workers can discover their own insights into shaping their own approach to self-care. All of this is in the hope that we reduce levels of worker stress, overload, and burnout.
While talking therapies work for some people, others may like to explore arts-based approaches that can include anything from drawing, collaging, movement, sound, and other varied media.
Drop in to give it a try, have a play with some art materials, and find out more.
